F-Stop Shinn first test: mtb freeride shooting

The 80 L “Shinn” is the biggest f-stop backpack.

It is specifically designed to haul large camera setups. Co-developed with a specialized dual access ICU, the Shinn’s full size suspension system and all-weather shell combines for a package fully capable of long adventures deep into the backcountry.

It’s rich of very large pockets. In the side long pocket I put a small tripod (manfrotto Nano)

I put into the backpack the XL Pro ICU; i put inside: the Elinchrome Ranger Quadra Kit (two torches, two 5m cable, one generator), the new Elinchrome Skyport Plus HS, Canon eos 1d X with 3 canon lens (135 f2L, 50 f1,2L and 16-35 f2,8L), 1 Elinchrome 40cm softbox.

I hung out a tripod on the left side and an High Performance Reflector 48° 26 cm in the back using the Large Gatekeeper Straps.

Considerations:

The Shinn is very large and offers plenty of storage possibilities. In my case it was weighing about 12 kg. I was very pleased with the confort on my back and how I was able to spread the load.

I greatly enjoyed the really spacious and very long lateral pockets.

The next time I’ll carry my Sony Nex s700 camera with all video accessories and a few long-lens.
